PLUS, super 12-second timeslip CRACKED HEAD! Oh, and it has some rattle when cold, but once the 10w40 warms up it quiets down... I've had it together since 2001 and have put quite a few miles on it (changed gauge clusters so would have to do math to know exact) but the whole time it has run on nothing lower than 100 octane ... BadAssPerformance "Boostoid" Boost controller (Grainger LOL) will make solid 19psi in the 1/4 mile, and I have seen 27psi in 5th on the highway... pulling like a freight train.. Oh, that reminds me... CSX Stage II LM and MiniMopar took the boost cutout out of it (thanks again!) It also has DSS L5 Axles in it, but I kinda need those for the Z right now, LOL!
    87 Shadow roller $300
    87 CSX front GFX $100
    Konis $700
    MP Springs $200
    2-pc Intake/rail $200
    Good stock Garrett $200
    3" Exhaust / Dynomax 3" Oval $300
    Motegi wheels $400
    Solid A555/hybrid gear $500
    OBX $400
    Clutch $200
MSD-6AL, MSD Blaster 3 coil, Magnecor 10mm wires, AutoMeter 30psi boost, Pro Lite shift light, A/F Gauge, Air Filter & aluminum pipes, T2 Rad/IC, etc etc,...

Over $4000 invested in parts, and thats not including the $800 axles

Although the stock head is cracked and the motor rattles when cold, it is still a turn key 12.90 car on slicks. Take into account some depreciation, as a bonus for a very natural ratty look... Yeah, i dont; think I'd get what I'd need to out of it, LOL

Is the only rust the common around the e brake hole? If that is all then it doesn't seem so bad. I want dibs on the CSX ground effects since I'll never be able to afford a real one, lol.

Thats the only big hole I found... yes, thats the carpet padding you see in the underside shot. Rest is usual midwest surface rust shown in the pics.

I currently have 8 and this is one of the "non-numbered" ones so it gets less priority... if anyone wants to save it, let me know, or it will possibly become patch panels to save numbered cars.

It would be great if you could keep it until you can fix it. Unfortunately there is no way that anyone will give you more than parts car money for it. It's just the reality of the situation these cars are in.

That is the sad situation... I picked up the roller with a bad engine in Indiana for $300... as it sits, without the performance goodies, as a running car that needs TLC, most folks would want to pay $300 for it, LOL

Update... Haven't driven the car (except around the block) for a couple years. Anyone interested in the thing as a whole? Has hole in driver side floor and rusty brakes. Head has cracks but doesn't get hot in 1320 feet. DSS axles removed from it, but stock ones in their place. Can remove parts to bring it within your budget...
