A vacuum leak would do that for sure. I would check for those first. I would also pull the codes and post up your findings.
tps on the throttle body

Exactly what I was going to say as well.
Thanks guys i replaced the tps cant find a vacuum leak, it is the 2 piece manifold. It was running just fine then one day started to rev at a light and seems to go down when driving so just at idle.
I would check the speed distance sensor too if you still have problems. I have had many LMs not throw a code for one when bad. If you put a digital multimeter on it with one lead on each part of the connector and test for continuity you should hear about 8 beeps per revolution. If it's not getting continuity or it's intermittent the sensor is bad.
thats what mine was doing it was tps

My shadow did that when I bought it. Turned out an AIS wire rubbed thru on a bolt head. Taped it up and is well.
+1 on the speed distance sensor. Some cars have a short extension wire from the wire harness to the SDS. Mine gave me issues similar to this and the loose connection would cause erratic MPH reading hitting up to 100+ MPH while at idle when I was watching the scanner. This would cause AIS to increase.
