Has anyone installed an srt4 intercooler in an L-body?
Is it even possible?

i had one for mock up and didnt really find a good way to do it, so i just went with NPR.
The cast end tanks make it hard for a custom application, even on a 1st gen neon there isnt a good place to make it work without cutting.
I did, I had it in my '87 GLHS. I mounted it horizontally, w/ the outlets pointing up. Ran it for a year or so w/o any problems. I was going to build a scoop for it, but never did.
I haven't seen it to be a very good intercooler. Sell it to someone and get a good ebay intercooler. You can put your effort into something that will flow and probably cool better.
It worked great on my engine. After running it I could touch both ends of the cooler, the inlet would be warm and the outlet was cold like it hadn't been running. Stock engine w/ a cam and bolt-ons, 18ish psi.
