    Unhappy Brake overhaul kits

I am working on a 1990 Daytona ES 3.0L V6 with 11" brakes and am having issues finding a rear brake caliper overhaul kit. I was on the rock auto site and I "think" This is the seal kit I need.

    DORMAN Part # D351968

    From the dorman website:

    http://www.dormanproducts.com/applic...PER+REPAIR+KIT

I took some measurements of the seal and piston :
    Seal O.D 1.692
    I.D 1.478

    Piston Body 1.421
    Grove 1.213
    Overall height 1.910

Will the dorman D351968 work ??

    Thanks Paul B

    What year ?

I thought they looked close but never tried one. The main reason I want to rebuild the caliper is to keep the cost low I might try to make a run at GRM 2010.

I thought it was the smaller non vented size rear calipers that were the same as a Neon ?

The calipers are the same on vented and non vented, the difference is the backing plates per say.
