I have an 84 Shelby Charger (non-turbo) but it looks great. Problem is the floor pans are rusty. Does anyone make them or do you have to go find some from a junk yard? Thanks

How rusty are we talking? Bad enough to require a whole new pan or just a bit of swiss cheese here and there..
I am in the process of patching the floor on my daytona, the worst one (aside from the spare tire well) is about 10'' long and 2'' wide across the seam on the drivers side.
I also patched one about 3''x3'' on the rear pass side.
No one really makes new floor pans, so you can get one from a yard and patch it in, or get some sheet steel and make some new pieces.
im glad that you found your way over here Lynn.
Theres a pic of those floors I was telling you about right here:

I have not taken the carpet up yet but was under the car while taking out the CC and checked it out. The back passenger one is the worst and the drivers also has a long spot in it.
unfortunately they are usually worse when you pull the carpet up.
It's a 'build you own' type of repair. I made pans for my GLH and yes, the rust was much worse from inside.
Yea rust on these cars is a pain in the ---
Mine looked like this
I made my own floor out of sheet metal

Patch them floorboards! I had to have a patch welded into my GTX between the last OEM panels and the repops. It is still in there, along with the 1969 left rear quarter and bumper.
Patche them now, when repops become available, you can do it up right. No need to trash a great car because of the rust.
unless the rockers are gone
Yeah, I suppose that makes it a bigger challenge.
i had a car that was so rotten when you drove up driveway aprons you could feel the floor twist under your feet
Slasky, what tar did you use for the sealer? The next step for my Z is getting all of the new panels sealed.
I would use Dp-90. YOu can find it anywhere ppg is sold. Por 15 only works over rust. It peels off clean metal.
I've used POR 15 over plenty of clean metal. Just got to sand it to rough it up. I've had no problems with it sticking.
For priming / sealing I've had great luck with PPG's Omni epoxy primer. It orange peels and is tough to sand but I've left it outside for years with nothing on top with no problems. It's a lot cheaper then DP90.
thanks for all the help. I will try to get on in before it gets out of hand.
