Are you looking solely to drive it in autocross, or will it perform street duty also?
Well to honest primarily for the track, but if I can find something that would preform for both that would be a plus.
Here is a link to guy that sells used tireshttp://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic....st=0&sk=t&sd=a
They all have atleast 50% tread and he is very reputable
Those look like good rain tires.
Look at Kumho V700

I've heard Dunlop Direzza Star Specs are good too.
The Dunlops, Bridgestone RE011, and the Kumho XS are all VERY good street tire choices.
I'm sure I don't know much about autocross as others here, but don't you have to take into consideration what class you will likely be running before you choose tires? Some classes have restrictions on treadwear rating, like over or under 200 or 220 or something like that. Might pay to look into that first.

I'm running those on my Legacy GT daily driver and have the older version on my Shelby Charger. Don't really have any complaints about them. But on other forums seems like the Dunlop Star Specs are very popular especially for their price point.

Reaper hit it right on the head. These are all great choices. The Star Specs are probably one of the best choices. However, you pay for them. I'm running the Falken 615's and they work pretty well, especially for the price.
Mike Marra makes a great point. There are different restrictions on tires in different classes. Some local clubs adhear to those restrictions, some dont, so you may want to check with your group first. Some clubs, like the MN group I run with, also have a PAX index class, which is basically a street tire class, and allows everyone with street tires to run in that one big group and correct your raw time with the appropriate PAX index.
It's basically going to come down to if you want two sets of wheels/tires, or if you need one set of "do-it-all" wheels/tires. If you're looking for the best of the best, throw some slicks on it and be done with it. However, then you need a second set of wheels, as you can really run the slicks on the street. And the slicks are about $210 a piece. If you're looking for a do-it-all tire, go with some Star Specs, RE011's, or the Falken 615's. Then it just depends on how much you're looking to spend. The Star Specs and RE011's can get spendy in a hurry(depending on what size you need). I'm running 205/50/15's, the star specs and RE011's are over $100 each. I got my set of 4 Falkens for $240 shipped to my door. Some say the Falkens are slightly less of a tire, but I have had great luck with them, and am pretty happy with their performance. Especially considering they're half the price of the others.
How would these do? Only reason I ask is because I have a set already mounted ready to go on another set of wheels that I forgot about...

Good street tires, not great for autocross.

Figures...
Buy DOT Race Tires. Anything less and it's for the street tire imo.
You'll probably spend at least $135.00 per tire. Look for something with tread and don't shave em. They will be great in the dry, rain and driving to and from the track.

Just wrap the rims in Duck-Tape.. Losing grip? just pull off a layer!
No auto x experience on street tires but Dunlop Direzza Star Specs work great on the track in the dry and wet.
