    1989 Caravan 5-speed

FS- 1989 Dodge Caravan TBI 5-speed

It's rusty, has tons of miles and blew a head gasket back in December. I got the head off and the gasket changed just lost motivation to finish putting it back together. Need it gone, thought I would offer it up here before the crusher. One good thing about it is the brakes are pretty new (less than 5k miles). New rotors and pads in the front, ALL NEW drum to drum in the rear and a new MC. $300 or best offer. Located in Wilmington Ohio 45177.

Picture is the rims on it now, here is a album on photo bucket of it a few years back. http://s118.photobucket.com/albums/o.../89%20caravan/

How far apart is it currently? Is the head back on with the new gasket?

Damn the distance and the no money thing! Someone save this poor van. I wanted to buy it but sadly can't afford to do so especially now that it's broken.

Yes, the head is back on. It needs oil, cam timing set, timing belt put back on, vac line re-attached, misc plugs/wire attached, radiator, hose, fluids, and exhaust put back on. I can get all this done, but if I do I can't afford to license and insure it to drive it.

    Woo glad it sold!!

TBI/5spd vans are magical things.. super good mileage, versatility, reliability, and comfort.

My tbi van had a blown headgasket that was on it so long that the PO's let it full up with water and lock the bottom end up. Not hydrolock, im talking bearings locked up. WOW. Bought it with i think 204k on it, swapped another 2.5 tbi in it and rocked it for 2 yrs and 20k miles, now turbo and about to go back to driving

Dont push the red button. You hear me?
