87: TI LM vs TII LM?

Hey guys - does anyone know what the differences are between a 87 TI logic module and a 87 TII logic module? Obviously the cal is different, but anything else? Different pin-out, or differences in the circuit board...?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure there are a few differences, but the only one I can think of off hand is the '87 T-I A.I.S. motor is a 2 wire and the '87 T-II is a four wire.

As far as the LM goes they are the same except for the cal. 87 L-body ones are actually setup the same as the 86 so they are different.

Currently I run a 87 TI with a custom cal in my 87 TII wired car.

So with an 87 TI and 87 TII (both non L-body) there are no differences? The 87 TI supports the 4-wire A.I.S. ?

Yes, I have actually seen a TI car with the 4 wire ais. I'm not sure if they were all that way or if only certain models were that way.

My 87 Daytona Pacifica, TI, had a 4 wire AIS

My '87 Daytona Pacifica T-I had the log suck through throttle body with the 2 wire. Yours might have been a later in the year/early '88 model year.

Regardless of which AIS came on what, the Non-L body cars all had the same components on the boards in 87' with just the cal on the chip being different.

You might be right A.J. but in thinking about when I was planning a TII swap, I remember only having to do one set of adding wires (either TPS, or AIS). Its been too long since I've had that car

If you've already got the under hood map you just need to run the two extra wires for the AIS and swap some pins at the connectors.
