    2.8L engine?

Saw this at Carlisle yesterday. On the valve cover was 2.8L milled in. I've heard of stroker 2.4's but what about the head??

It's backwards. The Talon exhaust comes out the front because the whole engine is turned around. Or at least all the DSM cars I've seen.

The head is off a DSM, its called a 420A. If you search, its been covered a few hundred times,

It will bolt on a regular 2.0/2.4 block and put the turbo up front, which can work awesome if you are looking at a setup like you pictured.

Not sure why? You won't be able to rev it out but it would make stupid bottom end torque. Bore must be at the max or over max too.

All the DSM cars youve seen are probably 4g63 powered THOSE engines are 'backwards' with the engine on the drivers side and trans on the pass side. Those heads wont swap for obvious reasons.

You're mostly right. Except all neons had the exhaust manifold in the rear of the head with the intake in the front.
