Well I drug her all the way back from Alaska, but looks like I should get rid of the old gal. She's in very good shape, all replacement parts found for the original damaged parts (pass. fender, pass. GFX and pass. side molding) just haven't put them on yet. I was waiting to get it painted, but I just don't have the time, money or desire to work with a Daytona. Car is currently not running (engine disassembled), but some of the dirty work has been done. The head was decked, valve seats recut, checked and all the specs set to the factory. The cams will probably need to be reground, well they will, but I know the car pulled HARD when I originally got it, so I would get them done just as precaution while the car is down. The block seems fine, but I haven't pulled the pan or the pistons to see how the bearings look.
Everything on the car is in good shape except the snorkle, but I do have the one that came with the car. Oh and the lifters will need to be replaced or a spare set used. I have all the pieces, but those things are just not in any shape to put back on the car. The interior is in pretty descent shape, but it could probably use some new carpet. The car was originally from Alaska, so it has the usual soot in the carpet and floor mats along with the vents. I have a few extra pieces for the interior and an extra dash that comes with it. Car is a sunroof, CD player optioned car with cloth interior, black exterior. It has all four ninja wheels, but I'm missing about 2 center caps?, I'd have to confirm where the other two are. But assembled the car would probably run just fine considering I decommissioned it as a running vehicle. All the vacuum hoses and factory lines are in great shape, in tact and none broken. I was able to pull the entire unit apart without damaging it, so that's all good.
Pictures will come later. I'm asking $3500 for the car, OBO. If you're interested, send me a PM and we can talk. I may consider a trade for an SC with some cash, but the cash would be minimal I think.
