1991 Red Spirit R/T 96k miles $1800 (reduced from $2500)

I'm posting this car up for a good buddy of mine (yogurtslinger). The corvette convertible bug has bit him and now time to sell the extra toys.

It is a extremely rust free red 91 spirit r/t that does run and drive while having under 100k miles. The body does look like the previous owner played bumper cars and the bumper cover, hood, both fenders and passenger doors have damage.

It does have a pretty good oil leak that I was supposed to fix along with putting some goodies on the car but that doesn't appear to happen. I do not know where the leak is coming from so its anyones guess right now. Brian did purchase oil pan gasket, rear main, and several other parts. He will have to chime in on what goes with the car and what doesn't.

Personally I value this car at $2500 and think thats what he should be asking for it, but again he will have to chime in for the specifics. Owner has dropped the price to $2000.

Just some more info, The O2 harness needs to be cut back about a foot and redone.(look infront of airbox in pics, all taped up right now) Prev owner had the harness sitting on the exhaust manifold(typical). Also, it has midrange *bucking*. Driving slow is fine, WOT is fine, just in the midrange. (map?)

I bought the pan gasket, rear main seal, new O2 sensor, and a clutch w/throw out bearing(was going to do it while repairing the rear main). The parts go with the car! Jason was going to do the repairs for me since I'm working like a freaking maniac, but is no longer able to do the work. This car was going to be my DD, until I found the TDI. Then it was gonna be a spare driver but, well...... then I saw something else that was shiny.

PRICE IS $2000 negotiable!

Jon I wasn't directing that at you specifically, just in general. Usually there are at least a few people who want more pics at least or offer you $1000. So far there are 2 people who want it but it seems that everyone has the same situation. You know, I don't necessarily have to have cash. I am up for trades other than what I listed. Guns, tractors, tractor equipment, brush mower, large woodchipper, ..... youd be surprised.

That is the only reason I bought the car, to have it as a DD. Once you get the problems fixed, shes solid. If I had time I'd fix her but, not with my work schedule. Besides, I'm clearing out all the toys for one really nice toy

it leaks bad 1-2 quarts an hour if running.
