FYI: Biography Error

Attempted to update my biography details this evening and keep getting the following message:

You did not enter the correct format for the Biography field. Please read the field description for the expected format.

no matter if I tried resaving what I already had or deleting it all and leaving it blank. There is no field description for the Biography. All that would work is the word blah (so perhaps there is a new character limit in place or something?) Can someone check it out? Thanks in advance.

It did the same thing to me. And yes, you are correct, there is no description of how it should be formatted. I mentioned this to the admins and moderators and got blown off. Not like it's a huge deal, but it is frustrating.

When I went in there to change my location, I could change the location field, but it would not save it because I did not put anything in the biography field. I tried just typing in some periods ...... and it did not like that either. I put "Minnesota" in my location, and "Minnesota" in the biography field, and it took it.

Long story short, yes there is an issue with it. However, you're on your own. Just type something in there and see if it takes it.

LOL Gotcha Mark. I previously had a short paragraph in there and went in to change a couple words and even though that paragraph has been in my biography for a long period of time it wouldn't accept the revisions, thus leaving me to enter the word blah lol...

impuresoul2k3 PM'd me and asked that I post in here that it appears all words in the field must be at least four characters long. Not sure what kind of sentences you can write with only 4+ character long words though lol...

I'm not worried about it, just wanted to point it out to whomever deals with that type of stuff here. THanks.

Fixed description. Those fields require a min of 4 characters A-Z. This is to hammer on spammers. Sorry.
