    Checking fuel pressure.....Cold or hot?

Ok..When my car is cold the static fuel pressure is different rather then whens its hot....my qeustion is when are you suppose to adjust the fuel pressure regulator? On a cold start or when its real hot?

The only thing that changes your fuel pressure is manifold pressure. You should check fuel pressure with the vacuum line to the regulator disconnected.

Right....I have a accufab afpr. When setting the static pressure, you take off the vacuum hose..plug it with your finger...and set it to 55psi. Well, i set it when the car has been running for 30 minutes already....now, yesterday i checked it again but this time after its been only running for 5 minutes and it was at 60?! Should it be different wether its been running for a long time or just a very short time??

ps. This is basicly a brand new unit...with a liquid filled gauge attached to it.

It should be the same all the time. What kind of guage are you using?

I beleive it was one of those ARP/Mr.Gasket 20 dollar ones...Maybe the gauge is getting hot and causing wrong readings?

Perhaps. Temperature can effect the spring in a pressure guage.
