i just told my wife thats one of my wants... it would make a great fathers day present!
I would love one of those inductive heating deals.
i hear that- some price tag though lol
How much are they? I can't find anything about it, cost wise.

A man has got to know his limitations.....
Leave the stock o2 stuck in the housing.
Install wideband with narrow o2 output. Problem solved.
I believe the last time I did mine I slipped a stubby ring wrench over it, gave it a good hard smack with a hammer and it came out pretty easy. The key being, not much slop or spring in the wrench, or room to skip. Leaving it in there would not have been an option because it was blowing out the back side. Double wrench trick, do you mean a wrench each side for both arm gorilla torque, or the locking a crowsfoot into a ring end as an extension or vice versa? I sometimes lock QUALITY vice grips on a socket or extension (very hard) for another handle, useful for stuff that's semi mobile like a downpipe where you don't wanna rip the thing off the car with an uneven pull. Can't see me breaking my 1/2" extensions, pretty sure I've achieved at least 1000 ft/lb through them (Stuck axle nut and bouncing on the end of a 6ft fence pole cheater) However, I've twisted the end off cheap 3/8" ones before with only a straight pull on a ratchet.

its on the site link lol. $695. Ebay is not any cheaper either.
I bought my inductor thru my local snap-on industrial rep with a large accessory assortment for $600 total. I can't say enough great things about this tool. ever try to get a swaybar link off a minivan or intrepid. Using a torch just creates all kinds of problems and safety issues. Having an inductor, I can remove the swaybar links in just minutes, no chasing down the torch, and water for burning rubber bushings etc. I love this tool so much, I demo'd it to a bunch of shops I do business with and they all bought one... I wish Snap-on would give me a commission.
Does anyone have a good link to how they work? I bet we could make one for way cheaper.
Probably... I'll look into that.... off the top of my head, the hard bit might be frequency.

Hokay, yeah, I see where it gets spendy, high power semiconductors, because you need a power inverter, or you need a high frequency genny... I would suggest getting a 3kW DC to AC inverter and converting that.... even then you're only at about half price...

Possibly if you're lucky enough to find an induction stove on the curb, it might have enough working bits in it to rig a unit out of...

SDAC in Chicago should make my setup. proper size box end and cut off the open end. get conduit to slip over the box end. Bend the conduit near the box end. I get just enough room from the top of the engine to get it to click loose. I broke two 02 sockets on this particular car before I tried this. Works like a charm.
The box end keeps all the torque right on the o2. Sockets tend to bend the O2.
