Details - the chrome trim around the top of the doors and quarters is gloss black as are the convertible top catches - which won't even be visible when the boot is on and in "show mode", but the chrome delete had to be complete, even if I am the only ones who knows.

Lengel's hand made catch cans, mounted to the IC part of the water to air setup:

Final two pieces to be painted. After this, the car has to be tuned/broken in and hopefully will be ready for SDAC *crosses fingers*

    Re: 92 GTC Convertible Resto

Jackson scored 36k mile OEM carpeting for me. So nice I had to take a picture.

Level of detail and materials. 3 coats of clear, harness better than new

The nose has to come up a little, hood vents installed, but it still looks like perfection to me. This was after a quick drive so if the picture is fuzzy its because I was too excited to be still.

Rear shot. The muffler will end up going. Car is too quiet and the muffler is ugly. Car looks so much better with the non-euro tails I think. The pumpers are temporary, Jackson is powdercoating a set of BBS wheels right now for it in black (same as SRT4 ACR wheels, but 2 piece).

Going to pick her up in two weeks. I went there this week to help out a little. Also decided that eventually the car will rock out black cloth seats so long as I can find someone to narrow the rear Daytona seats to fit a lebaron.

Yea, I'm still slightly angry about that. But at least he found someone to help him save a 2nd identical car that I found for him. That made up for it.

I have one of these cars, too. Its a survivor car, with fully functional EVIC added to it.

edit: Wow... I don't even remember me posting to this thread. I have been too busy working on everyone else's crap to find it necessary to remember such stuff. The car is looking great. I hope it see it some day.

    Re: 92 GTC Convertible Resto

As with most project cars, this may never be "finished" - I'm sure it will always evolve with whatever idea I have or whatever else might need to be done to keep it going, but with the showings at SDAC25 and in a few days, Carlisle, I'd like to say that this long chapter of engine changes, failures, and successes is about done:

Thank you to anyone and everyone, especially to Jackson Simler, for all their work and answered questions I've had regarding this car over the past 6+ years.

Beautiful car, excellent craftsmanship. I think Jackson needs to build my car next.

You see, when you look at those pics, the car looks good. But when you see your car in person in the sun or even at night in the lot, it is sooo much nicer than the pics can possibly show. Best. Paint. On. Any. Turbo. Mopar. Ever. Underhood doesn't suck either

Fall project was to make full width LED tail lights. One stage for running lights, and a second stage that lights up when I brake (since the CHMSL was shaved):

Nice touch with the lights but what I really want to know is where I can get a paint job like that?

Ryan, can you take a more :head on" picture of the tail lights lit up in the dark, please? I've been planning on doing something similar, but I'm concerned about light dispersal. Thanks!

    Re: 92 GTC Convertible Resto

Hi Alan, missed you at SDAC this year. Not sure if Jackson is doing any more paint work, but he did that one. It was painted / blocked somewhat prior but he did it to perfection.

For the tails, I'll get some pics, its prettymuch perfect dispersion-wise.

    Thanks Vigo!

Since this is like a history-log of the car, went to SDAC 27 and the car got Best of Show! So surprised but excited. I had to wait a second (to make sure nobody else went to get the award from JT) and stand up just to make sure I didn't daydream and hear my name.

Congrats on the BOS win! Maybe it was the new leather seats that put you over the top?

    Re: 92 GTC Convertible Resto

Could have been the seats, good eye!

Also for 25, we were at a red light and a woman next to us goes "excuse me, you're leaking something", it was streaming down the street next to us. It was gas, being pumped out of a popped return line (via a 255 Walbro). After a night of drinking needing a complete breakfast, we were already going to be a little late, but since I had to do a random parking lot fix we were way late to the show and I'm sure I missed out on a majority of people voting.

Rob, I had someone at the show say that my car inspired them to take their resto a little farther, so both his and your comments are neat to hear.
