Yeah, that looks familiar. I guess there will be only one then.
Nope. Its gonna get a t3. Just cleaning it up right now and driving it the way it is till I have the stuff for the t3 conversion
Ah, guess I should keep track of what I do for the conversion then. Should only be the wiring that is anything abnormal though.
Yes I did sell my car. I did keep alot of the LeBaron parts that I acquired for my TIII GTC which I will find another someday. The TIII conversion is easy in these so if you need any help Ryan LMK. I can do the wiring conversion in my head as I have already done 3 of them lol
I think I have the wiring down, I'm just comparing the 2.5TI diagrams and the TIII in the FSM. Seems straightforward, just some wire lengthening, haven't gotten into the coil yet though. I'm still trying to figure out what all I'm missing part-wise.
some progress:
Mocked up:

The engine is in, TIII harness is in, now for mounting the intercooler and piping, misc brackets and lines, ect. The little stuff that takes most of the time it seems. I'll get some pics when I progress more.
How's it going 3 months later? I totally missed this thread....

'67 Barracuda 273 now, 440/727 awaits....
I towed it to my house garage so it would be closer and I've done alot of the smaller work now, figuring out what parts I'm missing (being a TIII newb stinks) getting those in, plumbing the intercooler as nicely as I can with what I have, and then it'll be on to exhaust. Full 3" stainless, 18" of resonator, magnaflow SS muffler. I'm working while going to school full time so this is on the back burner for now unfortunately.
awesome thread... bump
Exhaust parts (more than just for this car), don't mind the garage, the neon has piddled on it and its too cold out there to organize the rest...:
As part of the Phantom tribute idea, auto climate control:
Got a Jackson downpipe, done with the expected awesome craftsmanship and he says its guaranteed to fit, and then I hope to get the rest of the exhaust fitted by the end of the month. Then the goal is to having it running by the end of April with shakedown and tuning until SDAC.
Do you need a tonneau cover for the top? I've got a VERY nice black one for sale right now.
Well, fine! LOL Know anybody else that needs one?
Haha, thought you'd like that. Nope, I don't even know anyone with a lebaron convertible other than the boards.
Fudge...me either.
Well, the 8v engine blew, the trans rebuild from a supposedly reputable builder was botched...(twice) so this time she's out at Jackson's, starting over:
I do all my design work in MSPaint: (for a bracing idea after talking with a Chrysler engineer who helped redesign the lebarons sill for 1992ish MY. Yes, the top bar would be in car. I wouldn't mind the harder entry trade off for a significant increase in rigidity. He said the higher up on the body the bracing the better, not below the car as on the PPG pace car. It actually did very little he thinks.
