Yep, 88 k cars (T&C, 600E, New Yorker, Lebaron) have the same bulkhead as the older stuff. I took an 88 New Yorker Turbo harness and plugged it right into my 87 New Yorker Turbo to convert it to smec. Pinouts on both are the same so it's plug and play.

Johnny I thought Eric over on the PNW-SDAC list said he had one from a 600E??

I'd just convert to '87 T-II/CSX, using the existing factory harness as your base. It's a few hours of work at most.
I agree. If i had a turbo harness in my car to begin with I would have gone that route.

The 88 connectors go through the firewall and plug in under the dash. An 87 would be a better chance I believe. Again, if you aren't specifically qwanting a SMEC or SBEC setup, do the overlay.

No, 88 G and J body were under the dash and the sexes were reveresed from what you have. I know I said that somewhere already.

It's a lot of work for not much gain.

87 would plug in but be more work that doing the overlay.

Like I stated above 88 k cars (T&C, 600E, New Yorker, Lebaron) have the same bulkhead as the older stuff so they plug right in and those cars would all have the same light wiring so it's totally plug and play for him.

I think finding a turbo 88 "E" car ... sedan, New Yorker or T&C wagon is like
finding a perfect woman. I think I'll just go with the logic and overlay.

The overlay is your friend. I'm a wiring tard and did the T-II conversion on my Horizon and GLH-T harness. I even moved the MAP sensor outside in the engine bay, lol.

Re: Raffle engine into 1986 factory Turbo wagon

best way to tell is blowthrough with a 50 pin at the bulkhead. So no Daytona, Jbody LeBaron, or shadow. The kbased cars is what you want. So New Yorker, Kbody LeBaron, 600 E.

Cleaned up the engine and suspension today. Was a big mess. Pulled the hood.
Ready for a new wire harness.
