    Raffle engine into 1986 factory Turbo wagon

    Started this project "finally". Here is what the engine is going into. A 1986 Plymouth Reliant, factory turbo wagon. It sat for 1-1/2 years, I put a battery in it, started right up so I could drive it into the shop to put it on the lift.

    From being used as a daily driver for many, many years. And then sitting for over a year, it looks pretty bad.

    Johnny;

    What I want to know is how did you get the motor back to Oregon from where you won it in Ohio ????

    Did you ship it home or did you load it in your own pov.

    Re: Raffle engine into 1986 factory Turbo wagon

    Speaking of the turbo, I need to find out soon, (see orange arrow) if there is room here for the exhaust flange to fit.
    AND (see blue arrow) what attaches here?

    Yeah that isn't much room to weld an exhaust outlet onto.

    The blue arrow is the outlet on the external gate. You can plum it back into the exhaust or make a dump tube but they are pretty loud.
