What could be wrong with a cal that would cause the car to start up barely running and so rich that black smoke rolls out of the exhaust? After a few seconds, sometimes a little longer, the idle stabilizes and the car idles fine. Also have a stutter miss right at throttle tip-in after changing gears. I don't have much detail on the cal itself because it was burned for me but, I was trying to see if there's a general cause that would make it do this so we can avoid it next time...
