    curious clutch wear

Parted a 91 shadow es today. It had this clutch on it. It was on/off like a light switch

What would cause this wear pattern?. There was a matching pattern on the flywheel. I'm not using the clutch as my Horizon has an auto but the trans was sold so I am curious. I drove it for a short time and it functioned fine

In my other thread Audiomaninc suggested that it might be due to the transmission having some input shaft play and wobbling the clutch a little during engagement. Might that be true and if so how serious?

looks to be caused by heat. someone was probably slipping the clutch to try to smoothly take off. either that or hammering the car.

I don't see anything wrong, except it has been slipping, most likely to launch the car. Usually clutch discs with pucks are harder for wear on the flywheel and pp.
