    koni's

After many searches, it looks like a rear shock for a newer ford ranger will fit on our cars (correct me if I am wrong). Koni makes an adjustable shock for the ranger. Not sure if this is a option worth considering. Looks like they are only adjustable off the vehicle though. # 30-1672 Any input.

What vehicle do you have? They make koni's for our cars; why order some for a ranger and hope they fit? Try FWDPerformance.com and they might have the right Konis for you. The minivan, sedans (K,P,G,etc), and L bodies were different.

I have Koni adjustables on my CSX and loved them the couple times I drove it before starting the restoration.

koni's are no longer available for our specific non-l-body cars.

Yep, you can only get Konis for L-bodies anymore.

This would be interesting. To adjust the Koni shocks for out cars you have to unbolt them from the upper mount. Then you can compress them and then rotate to adjust. You don't really have to remove them.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, the thread is pretty good on the Ranger shocks.

The only thing I can see is that they could be a stiffer design but then you can dial some of it out.
