The feed threads on the Holset are a straight thread and are sealed with an oring and not by the threads themselves.

The original holset feed line has the oring and the same oring should be used with the An-6 adapter.

I am not sure what the oring specs are offhand but I am sure it is a pretty basic metric oring.

Why would it melt? The cartridge doesn't that hot.

The oil running through the fitting keeps it cool enough. Just make sure to use the right type of oring that is rated for high temps.

The o ring is not visible here, it's between the housing and the the flat "washer" on the bottom of the fitting.

Do you need the original Holset fitting? I don't have one, but the O-ring is there.

For the oil supply you will need a 12mm X 1.5 to -4an adapter.
