    A523/568 Shifter cables

    Date: 29th September 2012

    Full Name: Rob Lloyd
City, State, Zip: Whitmore Lake, MI 48189
    Contact: PM
    Price: $45 shipped
    Description:

Decent set of shifter cables from a A555 manual trans. These actually came out of my '89 Daytona C/S. They have about 92k miles on them.

EDIT: Someone PM'd me that these look more like A568 cables. I did once have a A523 in my minivan, so maybe these were spares that I forgot about. In which case, I wonder where I put my 555 cables? Anyway, if these are in fact from a A523 instead, they would be from a P-Body.

    So, $45 OBO.

Can you measure the cables (length). I want to make sure they'll fit my daytona (I have a set of A523 cables, but I think they're Shadow cables) and I don't think they'll fit my daytona when I swap in my A568. Thanks.

    Yep, def 523/568 cables.

Pretty sure the P body (Shadow) ones are shorter than the G body (Daytona) ones.

Are the ends tight on the sheath? they liek to seperate. I'll take them if cawcislo doesn't

55-1/2" and 46-1/2" long (the adjuster is on the shorter cable, I forget which one is the crossover...)

    Re: A523/568 Shifter cables

Those should work, they measure the same as my A555 cables, so they'll fit my daytona. I have a set of Neon cables for the A568, but they're both the same size (basically) and I think one cable will be too short so these should work no problem. What's your paypal?

    Re: A523/568 Shifter cables

Still have these up for grabs? I need to remove mine from my Spirit R/T to check if the lengths are the same. Hopefully they are, mine are somehow shot I think. Happen to have a shifter and assembly available to go with these?
