I've left my old DD sit for too long in the elements. I spent few hours polishing the lifeless paint that looked like something started to grow on it. After cleaning it I feel like driving it again. I'm going to let my new DD rest for a bit.

Thanks bud, I pulled a AW71 out of a 1991 740 Turbo. It has the beefier components which is good when I add a +T to this vehicle. My AW70 bit the dust also, good luck on the find. I'm guessing you've checked all the junk yards around you.Originally Posted by omni_840

Looks awesome! I admire those older Volvos, they are the only import car I'd actually own.

I've wanted a 1997 Volvo 850R in red with the Volan 17" wheels for a long time. I've always been a fan of older Volvos because my dad was a Volvo Mechanic for a local dealer after being a Mopar Mechanic in the 60's and early 70's. He would swear by them and after all the abuse I've put my car through I can see why.
