Weird "Pssh" noise when I lift off Throttle

Maybe. But the TiAL valve will hold 80+ PSI of boost (not that I run anywhere near that much), and I highly doubt the DSM one would function at those levels. I also highly doubt that it flows anywhere near as well as the TiAL unit.

My only concern with the TiAL unit is that it might flow too well - I don't want all my precious charge to go out the BOV and the turbo has to now work harder again to pump the pressure back up

i think you would want the turbo to free spool as long as possible, a restriction (low flowing bov) will cause the compressor wheel to slow, thus creating turbo lag after the shift happens...

In all honesty, I like my 1G Mitsu BOV - I just don't like that it leaks...

You can modify it to not leak for next to free.

Yah, I read about the modification on Donovan's site. I'm not sure how it affects the BOV though. What does the modification do it besides allow for extra boost? He said something about it being not quick reacting or something...
