Are you using a CNC rotor table? Or just hand crank style? We have a rotary table, and a lathe attachment table that can be used with different position plates. Basically you bolt on these plates, and there are holes in them at certain angles to lock in the position. I just have not figured out how to make it usable. It is a 80's bridgeport series II CNC machine we retrofitted to new electronics, and MACHIII software.

No CNC here, just manual hand crank rotory table. The device you are describing is an indexing/dividing head for making gears and such.

Since my post Only pertained to what I though Warren's view of the "cheat juice" was, Only Warren could say wether I'm right or wrong.

When it comes to my own view, well I can't really be "wrong" about my own view of something if that's what I choose to believe!

Since what anyone else does has Zero to do with me, and it's Nothing to me what Anyone Chooses to do, I don't see right, wrong or indifferent in that either!

Yep, I couldn't think of the name. Indexing head. Would work well for making what you did, it might just take some time to figure it out.

Yup, up here in the northern "fly-over country" We choose not to use any of the gimmicks like 16Valves, big turbos, or nitrous. We race with one arm tied behind our backs..........Just to keep it fair!

Just to put things in perspective, Stephane B. told me directly, (not second hand info )his charger weighed 1740lbs when he went nines with the 8V. That would be over 500lbs lighter than my XE.

Just crunching some vauge numbers, it seems like you'd need a little less than 500HP to the wheels to achieve your goal, maybe another 25HP or so from where you are at now.. But I'm sure you already knew that!

I am curious what pump you are using in the trans? I understand the latter model Neon pumps are more effeicient, which to means less parisitic HP loss... I have no idea if it would be more or less durable in this application though...

That's why Stephane was able to do it on way less HP. 513 on an engine dyno I believe.
