Yeah, the driving position for road racing and auto-cross is a bit farther forward than on the street. Your knees should be bent as well as your elbows. I've been told that the shifter needs to be moved a little farther forward and raised a bit in my car. Because I don't intend on making a new console just yet, I'm going to leave it stock for now (custom TRUE short throw shifter). If I do move it, the I'll do a customer console.

Ordered a head gasket over 2 weeks ago....still not here. Hopefully it will arrive on Friday so we can get our build on once again.

I like this wheel much better than the blacked out Shelby steering wheel. Add's a little bling to the interior and really makes the Shelby horn button pop.

I really need to get a CS button for my Izumi wheel. That looks great in there.

Polished Shelby Wheel? Show me one that looks this good. Besides, have way too many Shelby logo's on the car already.

Nice Mike I think one of the first things I did when I got the Sublime GLHS (after having it painted black) was hit the IC with some low gloss black. Are you gonna do the front bumper tuck mod?

Thanks Alan. Did I miss something? When did you buy the sublime GLHS? Congrats man that is a nice car.

Not going with the bumper tuck mod for this reason alone....Restricted airflow. It's a nice look don't get me wrong but kills the airflow which is why you see the holes in the bumper in the photo above. Troy's looks great but function over form ftw. I'd like to see some underneath bumper shots of that mod to see the spacing between the bumper and facia.

Brian did install a large oil cooler and he's having to mod the original facia, to get some airflow to it..... gulp. I'll post pics of that when I get them.

A complete front facia made out of fiberglass is where I would love to be. I'd add an air splitter to the bottom and run some brake ducts to the fronts and direct more air to the oil/intercoolers as well.

I also had my big brake calipers and brackets powdercoated Magic Black 10% satin. Was thinking red but I'm glad I reconsidered. I also bought some Forged Motegi Traklites. Red lip mod to come of course.

Post some pics of your newly painted GLHS.

Thank you for not doing the brake hardware in red. Actually, you'll thank yourself later.

I really want to make a fiberglass front fascia for my Omni. I think there's a lot to be had in them.

    Re: Race GLHS

Mopars At The Strip is a pretty big deal around these parts for some of us and When I saw that the Rampage RT couldn't be fixed in time and the IROC RT head was cracked in a few too many places for a quick repair, I had to have something to take to MATS plus Forza needed room in the hangar for a new toy... Now I can't find what I did with the Bumper tuck pics

    Re: Race GLHS

Alan, you had a nice run of 16v before going 8 valve with the ESG GLHS. Do you have any pics of your dash / gauges? Gear shift setup? I know that car is built! Time to get a stand alone mgmt system to see it's true potential of 11's.
