    Re: Race GLHS

When I 1st put the S10 air dam on my GLHT back in 2000 if I drove through even a HINT of moisture it'd throw it up on the back window. I didn't have a rear wiper and the rear window was always covered in crap from september to may. Where my friends GLHS without the S10 airdam would stay relatively clean on the rear window. So there is a vacuum back there more or less depending on any aero mods you do

Was anything changed with how the wiper operates? My '86 GLHT always went to the low/horizontal position whenever I turned it off. I'd hate to see it turned on and turn 90* to the left and scratch the paint on it's way back.

Disconnected the motor. I used it ONCE in 7 years but looked at the aweful horizontal and sagging rear wiper everyday.

Why not just remove it altogether and plug the hole? That would shave a bit of weight too...

The original owner had it dealer installed before taking delivery and I actually think it adds interest to a otherwise boring big a$$ back glass

I use the rear wiper on my Daytona almost half as much as the fronts. Whenever I drive the Charger for a time, that's the second thing I miss after cruise control.

But then again I'm guessing you don't drive this car through any of the crap my cars see.

The one time I used it was one of the only times I drove to work. That was back in 2007 and lots have changes since then.

It makes the car look so much better from the back ill just apply lots of rainex
