Yes, it is. The clearance for the oil dipstick is on the wrong side. Our fabricator accidentily flipped the tray inserts on the last batch of pans he did. I thought we caught them all but apparently not. He is already working on another insert for you and I will let you know when it's on it's way.

Thanks Chris, I'll hang onto the backward one and use it as a door stop.

How low is that pan going to hang down? Anyone have some pictures with it sitting in a road race height car?

Our high capacity pans provide the same ground clearance as a factory pan. The factory pick up is also used.

No problem. I found out on mine laying under the car 2 weeks before sdac. Chris was great about it and took care of the problem very quickly. Just didnt want you to have to go through something like that.

Thanks to Troy, Kyle and my brother Darin, the original engine can now rest in the garage with the original interior. Note the newly shortened downpipe still attached to the 3" swing valve.....Damn that bolt!

Step 1 complete. Now it's time for the build.

    Re: Race GLHS

I see a Omni for sale, been dynoed at 500 hp and owner says it is scary and I believe him. That much HP in a car that was designed for 200 hp and less must be frightening.

So here is my question for you....I have a Menegon Cam, Head, GT30 dbb turbo, Built CB with 4 bolt mains and a spearco front mount. So, after my build lets say I keep my Stage 2 computer and my +20 injectors and run 14psi. My goal is to build a trackable car. So I'm going for balance and usable HP.

I'd be happy with 300 hp at the wheels. I feel I could actually drive that car around the track, throw it into corners and not smoke the tires upon exiting (568 with quaife helps also).

What kind of HP numbers do you think I'm looking at?

Hard to say, at 14 psi, that turbo isn't alive yet.

I'd agree. If you are only wanting to make 300hp, sell that GT30 and get something smaller that can meet your hp goal, yet be more repsonsive.

This is not a dig on you at all. I'm just saying thats alot more turbo than you will need, and for road race or autocross, you ware gonna want something with a bit more response.

I'm gonna put this one in first, see how it responds during the "break-in" period then re-evaluate at that point.

So the disco potato (love that term) GT28R would probably be a better fit for my 300hp goals I'm assuming?

if all you are shooting for is 300,then a super 60 would work great as well.
