lol. its cool. even if you were, its a worthy ball bust. or in your case, a ball gaze lol.

ugh... that night was rough. it was cinci though. lasky was embarrassed that he had to hold my hand to help me up the stairs.

some dum dum suggested that they carry me upstairs. now that would have been epic.

I wont be repeating the chair incident though. that was a once in a lifetime event. too painful to repeat.

it will be a fun time though. that reminds me, i need to order some ES12A lol.

    Rob,
I am back up and running and ready to get some help getting the switchable boost and stage limiter to work. I have all of my data logging set up and I have been logging most of my runs and fine tuning the tune now. Please let me know what you need from me to get started on this.
    Thanks

I'll have to check the switch register. I had some wrong definitions in it at one point. I think I fixed them, but I'll double check.

So how bug free is a 3-bar +40 TIII cal now? Still having issues w/t the EMR shutting it down every so often? Or is that fixed? Trying to start the TIII swap on the Lebaron so, and debating on using the TIII harness and SBEC, or adapt the dizzy to it somehow and use my current SMEC. Seems like the SBEC is more advanced.

Rob, the 91 r/t cal is fine, 92 I couldn't say but since the 92 is a sbec II and you said sbec i'm guessing you have the 91 set up. on the 91 set up you must manually check the emr ignore box and if you want certain options to work like the stage limiter and such you have to enable that to manually by checking the box all under the options in the cal itself. so open a cal and under setup click the + box and a drop down menu opens up. CalCustomOptionConfigFlags1, click that and you will see the options in the box to the right and just click on what you want enabled. then click on the calcustomconfigflags 2 right under in the left box and another set of options will appear. check box suppress EMR andthe other 2 already checked are good. Currently the spark based rev limiter doesn't work so leave the fuel based rev limiter checked. One thing you will have to do is rescale the FuelBatteryOffset ( it's in the fuel tab, then under the running tab) rescale that to MATCH your injector latency. Then have fun tweaking a little at a time

I do have a '91 RT setup. Assuming the 2-bar cal works fine without suppressing the EMR?

The EMR is only an issue on the flashable computers. Stock socketed computers should have no issue.

Just use the Turbonator cal and disable the EMR then.

I updated the SBEC1 TIII .asm file to override the EMR routines. I had already done this for the SBECII, but not the SBECI, I guess. If you go to the link on post#1, the new .asm is in the .zip file...

So this will stop it from cutting off ever so many miles, right?

    Re: Turbonator T3

Has anyone built a cal and ran it on the updated '91 template? I can start and run and rings seem pretty good but the car periodically cuts out. It's like it shuts off until I clutch it, Let it come back to idle, and then it seems to work again. Doesn't stall when this happens.

I did not have this issue on the prior template, but my set up has change significantly and now MPTune doesn't compile on the old template.

    Suggestions?

    Try a different socketed ECU.

    Re: Turbonator T3

Is it socketed or are you running a flash module? Flashable setups seem to have problems with the EMR routine shutting it down momentarily after so many miles. My '91 flashable V6 does this.

Socketed. Running on an Ostrich, just as it was before.

Just got back from another drive. It seems to do this every so often, but always seems to happen on the shift to second. Hit second, step on the gas and it just turns off for a few seconds then comes back. It also has an odd misfire decelerating as it hits about 2000 rpm. It studders rapidly as it's slowing down. Starts happening 1900-2000, stops at about 1800.

Everything runs fine until they don't.

Another ECU fixed my random cutout problem on my Daytona.
