    1985 lancer es

    There is a 85 lancer here at the dealer I work at. Was traded in on something(not sure what) By a little old lady. Car has 80k origanal miles, decent paint faded in some areas (bumpes mostly) It is a burnt orange and flat black (lower half) with all the correct orange decals that go around the side windows and says turbo on the hood an fenders in orange. Looks neat I've never seen one like it before, but I now it's all factory decals. Turbo 1 auto, black leather, digatal dash, but crank windows??. What is something like this worth? how many were made? Is the color rare? Not sure what I could get it for. And the voice warning system in it works. There is a little rust in the front corners of the floor pans, but that is

    I like those, and cool to see it with all the turbo decals and stuff. The color combo sounds nice, but hard to put a value on it without looking it over. Off the top of my head I would say $1500 in nice shape with no mechanical issues.

    It looks like they made 4,581 Lancer Turbos with the AGT sport package in 85

    I bet it was the metallic red color originally that has faded to an orange.

    I will take some pics, but I don't know how to post them on here. I ran the vin on star parts, Says the paint is salsa red pearl upper balck clear lower. Looks redish orange to me. underhood hatch and doorjams are the same color as body. I should find out my price today!!

    Ok, won't find out price today will be Monday. If I get it I have to sell my csx, per deal with wife. My csx is torn apart to have it painted. I hate to get rid of a #ed car for a lancer, but I have no desire to finish the csx or sink a bunch of money in paint and body work.This lancer doesn't need much. What to do I don't know what it is but I really like this lancer!!! Think it's cause I've never seen this nice of one with the sports package. Plus the orange decals look cool. Any thoughts about it?
