I bought one a few years back off of here or the other board. Just keep looking. They are hard to find. Check ebay, too.
That checkerboard seat looks pretty good. Is it silver and black? And are the other seats in good shape, too? If so, that is a major advantage--they are really, really hard to find!!! I need some badly!!

tell me about it, it seems its nearly impossible to find parts for any in the early 80's I think i am just going to go with the black challenger series with the mopar horn button in the center.

    decided its not worth it.

I have the exact steering wheel that you are looking for, minus the hornpad. Not really sure that I want to get rid of it, let me think and get back to you.

Not to nit pick, but that wheel was only offered in 84 on the Daytona. It also came in Ramchargers, Miradas, and RAM trucks. Some of the truck wheels have different splines, but all of the tilt ones I've found have the same splines as the Daytona.

Bingo. Your best bet is to look in the old trucks in the JY.

I tossed one of them in the trash a couple months ago. Had kept it to sell someday, but it ended up getting wet in storage and moldy around the grip.

Also if you remove the leather wrap from the Daytona wheels they have a nice simulated leather grain under it with fake stitching. The truck wheels have more of a shiny finish that is not as nice and is usually cracked and sun damaged. The center horn buttons seem to always have cracks in the center plastic section, but I have owned 2 of them that were perfect. One was NOS and the other was a very low mileage unit.

Yeah that was mine I had up there for sale. I also had a black 4 spoke steering on there too that was decent shape. After 2 re-lists on the horn pad, I guess nobody is interested.
