I torqued them to 85ish ftlbs with arp moly lube. I torqued them again after running it a little bit.
85 ft-lbs with 30 weight, didn't have moly lube. Motor is still together, but not in the car, 25psi and many fun miles, no problems.

I think I went 85 or 90 with moly lube. Cant remember for sure, I have it written down somewhere.
85 Ft-Lbs. with Moly lube. Was on my hybrid engine though.
Brad George Hoping to have a turbo car again soon...
Same - 85 lbs with the ARP lube that came in the box with the studs but with a Cometic and Permatex aerosol spray Copper Coat. No problems with sealing with that combo so far. Cometic specifies dry but I use the Copper Coat on both sides of their gasket since I do not microfinish the head and block as specified by them.

Studs do get tired. I reused these several times, I could not get more than 80 ft lbs with oil with this one.
later Dick Westerhof
25-55-80 ft/lbs with the lube, per ARP tech. Let engine warm to operating temp, shut it off and let it sit until it's completely cool to the touch, then retorque it. Usually with steel shim stlye headgaskets it's recommended to retorque.
step'd up to 85ft/lbs with moly on the 2.4
BTW if your talking about for the 2.4 check this thread. I called and they sent me a new set. Larger nuts/washers included and slightly shorter studs then I had previously that were actually for a VW 1.8T. No questions asked or no proof that I even had studs(other then I knew about the issues/changes made and round about dates)

The nuts/washers are not quite as big as the DCR $60 nuts/washers but not a rip off and sufficient.

Torque to 85ftlbs w/oil ... let set overnight and then retorque to 85ftlbs before firing the engine.
85ft-lbs with moly lube, I fire the engine up, let the fan cycle, shut off, let cool and re-torque.
I go to 95flt with 15w 40 . and retorque in one week of heat cycles
Yeah re-torque. Good thing to do.

I go 90 lbs with molly lube and re-torque after a few heat cycles.
I tried 80 with molly lube on my fresh engine (had the head and block resurfaced) and after a few runs at 18 psi, noticed prestone spitting out from between the head and block in two spots.
Torqued it up to 90 lbs and never had an issue up to 28 psi with a shot on top of that.
I just recently put the head back on the car and was out of molly lube so in place I used Mobile 1 synthetic grease on both threaded ends and washer surfaces. I torqued to 90 lbs, heat cycled it and re-torqued. No problems to date.
85 with ARP moly lube on the 8 valve, Cometic or MP gasket-no issues.
95 with ARP on my TIII, either gasket no issues except the used Cometic I put on, wouldn't seal.
Reused the studs at least a dozen times on both engines, no issues.
