Is the Walbro 255 fuel pump a direct fit or will there have to be alterations made? Any tips changing the fuel pump? Thanks in advance. djd

Mine dropped right into my Shelby Charger. No alterations needed.
IIRC on a couple of mine the Walbro waw slightly smaller in diameter and length, fortunately they included a 'sleeve' so it would still bolt into the stock bracket assembly. I think I had to change the electrical ends too but easy to do.

Mine was the same way...but compared to the rest of the parts on the car, this was completely drop in. The walbro came with everything required to do this.Originally Posted by 2.216VTurbo
The TIII vehicles ('91+) use a different fuel pump setup than the earlier Turbo Mopars. FWDP sells a Walbro 255 ltr/hr pump for the SRT-4 that fits the R/T cars without having to cut anything up.
Exactly...the SRT-4 pump is a drop-in fit. The only thing not correct is the large o-ring. If your old one is bad then you'll have to go searching around for one.
The Walbro 255 is NOT a complete drop in fit in +91. I had to splice the wires for the fuel pump into the factory pump pigtail on my '93 IROC R/T , it is not a plug and play. Pretty close though.
