    SMEC....that board on top...can it be mix matched?

    Hey Guys, i just got a socketed smec a little bit again...as i look at it, that top board is just pure nasty....its so caked up with crap....i was wondering if i could use the one from my current smec and just swap them?? Can u do that?

    your talking about the top part that covers up the chip, that just pops out. Ya you can I believe.

    Yes providing it's a turbo ( if that's want you have ). I may be wrong but I don't think you can mix a TBI power board + a Turbo power board. The TBI has only 1 injector circuit and the turbo has 2 injector circuits.
