L-body axle shaft carrier bearing billet housings

Troy "TurboJerk" has contacted me about making carrier bearing housings for L-body specific cars half axle shafts
similar to Darren's current set-up (now sold thru FWD Performance)

Troy mocked up ,with the stock components, a half axle setup that would use Darren's housing on an L-body and stated it won't work
(If anyone has done otherwise, please lmk)
He designed up a carrier housing and would like me to make a few
told him if I get a dozen or more orders I'll make them

So lmk if you want one
1/2 deposit taken before we make them
rest due when they are done
money refundable if we don't get the 12 people
(I think Troy needs 12 for all his cars anyways )

What you need to do is design a half-shaft that eliminates the u-joint.

That is a great (but expensive sounding) idea.

That U-joint sucks but I don't think it would be that expensive if you sold alot, including all models.

Hardest part would be to find someone that could broach the splines on the end properly. There is a 4x4 shop near me that is supposed to be able to do it, but I've never gotten out there.

Re: L-body axle shaft carrier bearing billet housings

what is the projected cost?? i have yet to have a major issue with my stock one, other than having to weld my axle to it because the splines stripped out. throw out a ball park $$ so people have at least an idea as to what they are in for, just because i am not in a spot that i "need" one doesnt mean that i dont "want" one, and i am sure i am not alone on that feeling, so if we had a ball park, that would help.
