Reason for the change....19's aren't cutting it anymore in my old age. Want better hooking, better traction, and a better ride....

I would go with the 1st or the 5th.. I'm a sucker for 5 star rims with a nice wide lip.

This has entered the conversation as I needed to use one as an emergency spare, and they don't look that bad.

A little plain in my eyes, but i could deal.

Biggest concern is if they'll cut it as far as racing tires go...16x6, i'm not sure if that 6 is wide enough...

srt4 are 17"x6", and heavy, but they look good. my choice would be 3 or 6, then 5, and if you dont like to clean your rims often (once a week) then i would go with 5. but if you ask me i wouldnt want to use any of those wheels for racing, unless your talkin about street racing

Well i need a wheel i can drive around on the street with, but still go to the track and at least put the power to the ground.

The 19's had tires so thin, everytime i hit boost they'd blow loose and skip down the track....i ran an 18.x with a car with significant time/money/parts on the engine...should be running low 13's...but couldn't get the power to the ground...

I just don't want to swap slicks on and off every time...so looking for a "hybrid"...a wheel that looks nice, but can at least get the power to the ground...

#4 or 6... i think the wide open 5 spoke would look awesome on the car... #6, always a fan of the BBS wheel look, but obviously its your car and choice... a nice 7 or 8" wide rim would suffice IMO....

#3, but you should look into some forged centerlines if you really want to cut some weight.

Thanks everyone. Definitely goin to be an interesting choice... i appreciate all the input.

lol, this is true, except for the fact that I added 5 seconds with my last rim choice...so probably a net 0 =)

None of them, and certainly nothing over a 17" unless you're into the silly "wagon wheel" look. And for baby Jesus's sake whatever you do please for the love of that baby do not put those ugly wrongly sized 17" x 6" srt4 wheels on there.

    Re: Wheel Choice Help

what I don't like about my stock wheels is that you cant see the drilled and slotted rotors all the way around.
Other than that I would go with some stock rims from the same time period.
    no steelies no hub caps
    number 5 looks the best.
whats wrong with the rims on the car now??
