The blend door were the motor attaches to the top to move it is broken, so anyone have a blend door in a parts car with the auto climate control they would like to sell? I hate to have to pull a dash apart to get to all that.

Are you talking about the white platic part?

All I know is the blend door itself broke off where the motor that moves it attaches. It will not change modes from heat to panel, defrost, etc. It looked to be a white or beige color. It's not the motor itself or part of it, but the actual blend door broke.
I just went through this... I went to a u-pull-it and had it out in 45 minutes. It's pretty easy. You can also make your own with a steel rod and cotter pin. I understand it is a common problem. Make sure you lube the moving parts when you take it apart and try to refrain from turning the blower on high and changinh the blower selection...
did you have to remove the dash to get to this or were you able to drop the air box in the dash by itself? On my taurus when the blend door motor broke the whole dash has to come out to get at it.
To do it right, you need to pull the dash out of the way, also disconnect the AC lines from the evap core. You also need to take the top off the heater box to replace the broken part of the blend door. I have also been able to cut the section of the box where the blend door is with a Dremel and replace the part of the blend door that's broken without removing the heaterbox. I then glued the part of the box back in place with JB weld. It didn't look the prettiest, but you can't see it when the dash is back in the car, and it beats recharging the AC. Also the heaterbox is a pain in the rear to take apart, even when it's out of the car. If you want the parts you need to fix it, I have an extra set, $15 shipped. Strangly enough the first car I did this to was an 89 GTC vert.

Agree with TopDollar but if you pull the box you can look and/or replace the condenser or core if necessary... just my $1.99...
