new balljoints, tie rods and poly bushings will help. I redid mine with the same rack and it's VERY responsive now
you can't polish a turd! 13.67@100.11
Well all thats been fixed and theres no play. But it seems too responsive! I guess to elaborate a little more, how can i make my steering heavier. Would converting to manual steering be my only other option? I done want to loose my quick ratio
put a regular PS rack in .
cant you drill out the fitting the the ps pump to lower the pressure?
I am not sure about these pumps but there is usually a spool valve and a spring under the output that controls the pressure. Drilling it would increase the flow and would likely damage the spool valve to a point where it would no longer release pressure. You could go electric power steering and only have it on below a certain speed
Take the PS off... leave the power rack in... upper body workout time.
