    question for the fabricators/engineers

i need wheel spacers for the rear of my car about 1/2 ''
instead of buying wheel spacers would it be sale to put a 1/2 piece of aluminum or steel between the rear axle and stub axle?

cant be much worse then the plastic camber shim there now

You should be fine with either but steel would be for sure. Just be careful that you have the inner fender clearance when your suspension compresses. I made spacers and loved how much better it looked only to find my sidewalls getting chewed up as I went over bumps. I've been too scared to get the fender roller out so the spacers have been sitting on the shelf.

just found em, im gona order 2 sets and weld em together

any know the size thead pitch and length of the stock bolts so i can get some longer ones

doing it this way should be easier on the wheel bearings, seein i already have 0 off set wheels

You could weld em together, or if you ask Greg, his machinist may be able to make you a set that's 1/2" thick. I don't know the bolt specs off the top of my head...
