Time shack kid told me 6.82 at 105 but ticket would g print because I went red. My log showed somewhere between a 6.8-7.0 depending on where I lifted. Took 36.6psi to do it!

I'd like you to set it up exactly like you did for that last run and post some dyno numbers. Or at least text them to me

Saw the vid right after it went up. Nice VW!

Cool cavalier too. I havent kept up with the 60*v6 gm community in the last many years but i know that car has been around for a long time. Glad to see both of the cars intact, hauling --- and racing each other!!

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

Was that the Cavalier that ran Drag Week in 2016?

    Re: ForcedFedMopar's 85 GLH-T

There used to be a GMPP chain/sprocket set for 4t60s et al that cost like $2k. I don't know the specifics of the need for it but i guess there was a need. All i know is that most GM 4t60 are geared stupid tall.. but the one in my mom's s80 is geared well.. so i'm thinking Volvo 4t60 parts are a good trick for drag racing a GM 4t60 car. LOL

is it still a 4t60 in that cavalier or did he cram a 4t80 in there?

Not sure, he did say it was a newer unit from a gtp I think.

Took the car to the track last Friday in full street trim, ran 7.2-7.3s on "low" boost (25ish) not bad for full interior car in my opinion.

hmmm i think the gtp only got 4t65's.... the gxp got the 4t80 i think. the 4t80 can take a TON of power.

That should equate to low 11's I think? So no, not bad at all from what I see!

New turbo arrived today for the car. 5858 t3 .63 housing, anti surge compressor. Excited to see how it performs. New torque converter should be here this week/next as well

Got my new torque converter last Saturday. Just ordered a new intercooler tonight. Now maybe if all goes well I can put It on the hoist this coming week and make the parts swaps!
