6 point cage to 4 point

I think I'm going to cut the halo and dash bar as well as the door bars out of the omni. the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I dont plan on racing the car, all I need is a little stiffness side to side. That and the car is a b!tch to get into with the door bars there. Less tech inspection later on.

Anyone else just running the main hoop with rear braces?

The original owner of my 85 Shelby Charger installed one of the Direct Connection 4 point bars in the car back when it was new. Plenty of side-to-side stiffness.

Re: 6 point cage to 4 point

The more I try and get in and out of the stupid thing the more I want it gone. If I need a full cage I'll try again, for now I think I just want the stupid car to run.
