1st gen (up to 99) Neon shift knobs are virtually identical, and Neon R/T's had them in leather.

Boy the price just keeps going up on those shift knobs. The first time he priced one to me it was $40, then when I went to pay for it he wanted $60, now he's asking $100. I guess thats how it goes when you have all the NOS ones left.

Still, that's not a bad price for a new factory leather knob.

Re: 90 up leather shift knob

FYI: I bought 30 of these 4471213 leather shift knobs when they were 3.00 each from Chrysler.... not that it matters what I paid for them BUT for some reason at the time I wanted to order them they were CHEAPER than the plastic ones. Go figure? I thought WTF? So I ordered them maybe in 1992 or so. I have 2 left. Well I wish I ordered more of them but hey I did what I could at the time.

Re: 90 up leather shift knob

You ought to see what the local immigrant upholstery shop would charge to re-stitch one...might not be too expensive since it's pretty simple. They may even have the numerical punches to stamp the shift pattern in the leather?
