Taking my car for example, there is no doubt in my mind that my car will run ALOT quicker than than a high 12 second pass that would be estimated from the usual formula (1/8th et x 1.55). 8.33 X 1.55 = 12.91. On street tires my car is just starting to really pull hard at the 1/8th mile mark. But I know it will be really hard to guess what a car might run in the 1/4 from 1/8th data.

I think the "1.55" factor might solve the concern... The problem is that we dont have 1/8 mile times for each 1/4 mile time, so a "standard" like thsi might fix that? I'll bring this up in the 1/8 ET thread
