Indy/OVC KartaPalooza 2011!!!

It's almost time again, the Winter indoor karting spectacular KARTAPALOOZA 2011!!!

Saturday, February 12 is the date, BUT: the question is the venue....

We usually have it at Compitition Racing in Lawrenceburg, Indiana near Cincy but this year we have another choice:

Fastimes Karting in INDIANAPOLIS Indiana.

Reeves did on site research there, says it's AWESOME.....
They are booked AFTER 6PM for a private party, so it would need to be before then.

If we choose Indy, we would need a local to step up and host the afterparty/sleepover....

SO - IF YOU WILL ATTEND - vote on a venue.... Let's figure it out!!!

From the looks of it fastimes looks awesome. Whats the price usually come out to per person with the group? I would love to come.

Fleck or Clay can correct me if I'm wrong, at Fastimes I believe it was $20 per race if you had your own helmet and $22 if you needed to rent a helmet.
This place makes you wear a full racing suit, and neck brace, and they provide gloves.
At least one person has got killed on this track. It's that fun!

Sounds even better, I was reading and the 2 bucks is a one time deal for a headsock if you are going to use the helmet. That 2 tier track looks awesome and you just can't beat the fun factor of possible death lol.

I volunteer to host the Safe House!!! It's only about 10 miles due north of there. (Much closer than the Safe house in KY is to the Kart track in Lawerenceburg.) I've already talked to my wife and she is willing to bail for the weekend so everyone can come here after. Crashing overnight is fine but the place isn't nearly as big as the KY Safehouse. I will contact R/T and Reeves to try and work out details. (Should the final decision be made to come up here.)

I didn't forget to call you yesterday. I was at the Titans/Colts game downtown and by the time the game ended, we fought through the traffic to get home and load my In-Laws up so they could head home, it was 10pm and we were ready to get to sleep. (Getting up at 4:45am after holiday vacation isn't fun.) I planned on talking to you today but probably not 5 hours worth of conversation.
