    Need 3.0 Bulkhead Pinout

Can someone hook me up with a diagram of a 89 3.0 SMEC Bulkhead Pinout. The Engine compartment one. I'm converting an 89 Omni to 3.0 status and need to see which wires need to be moved.

    Thanks.

    Yuck...

Anyway the 50 pin bulkheads are all the wiring positions with the exception of extras and that the gender is sometimes inverted depending on the cars... They didn't change them between the different engines in the same model car.

As miserable of an idea as putting the 3.0 in your omni is here are the diagrams you wanted....

By 91 they had all sorts of extra crap in the 50 pin bulkheads compared to the omni but they were just extras and you can remove them or leave them... I used the latest year FSM I had to show that they never changed the positions.

Notice how lonely the wires in the 89 omni are...

Now why would you want to do such a horrible thing when there are much better engine swaps out there?

Its the best motor swap by far.
Lil Omni will run 12's on less then 10psi boost, and be very quick without boost, and run forever.

Is there even a running 3.0l omni out there? It seems like I saw one once but I haven't heard much about it lately.

Anyway this is another opinion based thing.

Stock vs. Stock I would take the 2.4l over the 3.0.
