Nothing wrong with them. Obviously you know they are stockers and they work great for that and lightly modded apps. Good long lasting clutch for those type of applications.

Thanks, the store i got it from usually gets all of the "good stuff" for parts anyway. It cost me like 150 or so. I just told them it is for a 91 spirit 2.2 dohc and they said okay, be here in a week. Usually there there within a half a day or so but it was on factory order and had to come from the factory. Seeing its for a r/t i'm assuming thats its good for about 250hp or so. Eveantually i may upgrade but for now seeing that there are 2 femalesthat have to learn how to drive it i wasn't going to put in a good clutch. I'm going to say this one will last me a year or so, then it will get a good one. The p/n i'm not sure, it will be here monday. It was supposte be here today but because of the holiday it screwd everything up.

    Re: Opinions on Sachs clutches

Sachs and Luk are the two main clutch manufacturers that make the clutches for these cars.

Even when you get an aftermarket performance clutch it will more than likely use a Sachs or Luk clutch parts, for example the pressure plate housing or disk hub. The performance clutch companies just add their fancy clutch pad materials and different sping designs.

With that said, IMHO, the Sachs parts are better designed than the Luk ones.
