    slicks questions/help...

I am getting more and more into the car thing, but still need some help with some things and that would be the tires... I am wanting to get some slicks so I can keep traction as I continue to boost the speed of my car. Question is, what kind of slicks, what kind of brands and a good way to know what size to get, etc... I have a 87 Shelby Lancer... Thanks for the help in advance.

M@H seem to be the preferred brand but Mickey Thompson are ok too.

For your car, 23X15 or a 24.5x15 would be fine running stock rim but they do recommend a 7 inch rim. 6.5 crabs are a good cheap rim too.

    IMHO:

M&H seem to stick a little better, MT's last longer...

22" or 23" tall for a mild car, 24.5" for a stronger car that can pull the taller tire.....

Thank you so much guys for the information! I REALLY appreciate it! Do you guys recommend just buying something like this new or is it worth it to find them used somewhere (if possible of course)? And also does it matter on the rim so much that they are on?
