    2.5L with H beams

i got the Eagle H-beams from FWD for my 2.5, i went to put the bearing in the rod and noticed it didnt seem to fit exactly right.... I know the h-beams are meant for a srt-4 so does that mean you have to run the SRT-4 rod bearings? or 2.5 bearings????

    Hi!

Yes, unfortunately you need to run the SRT-4 bearings (not 2.0 or 2.4... but make sure it's SRT-4)

Also, double check your pin to rod clearances. Actually, you should take them to a compatible machine shop that has a rod hone and have the clearances checked. The rod supplier (and fwdp) can't size them if they don't have your pistons. Usually, a rod manufacturer makes their small ends a bit on the tight side so you can custom tailor the clearances.
