SBEC 60 pin plug retaining screw just spins, but doesn't loosen the connector

I am trying to take the harness off of the sbec and the bolt just spins. I though it might just need to be pried apart but its still tight!! Any body ever have this problem and know how to fix it? I even took the whole sbec apart and there is no way to see the nut the screw mates to. I would like to save both pieces so I can use them on a tbi to turbo conversion.

did you try taking the connector apart from the part where the bolt head is, chop off the bolt head and slide the connector off ( dremel time!)
